Death Becometh Her?

As a professional genealogist with an interest in tombstone symbolism – Tee Bylo is a seeker of elusive ancestors and a wanderer of graveyards.

And with her passion for family history, storytelling and Victorian crime – Tee is the creative director for Death in a Chocolate Box which offers unique walking tours through the snickelways of her home town inspired by the unfortunate tales of long-forgotten folk.

Tee is also a sometime artist and her work includes ‘Small Worlds’ in 12th scale and figurative clay sculpture.

Among the groaning shelves of archives, old books and fauna, tubs of paints, the odd pot of glue, baskets of clay, and other strange looking implements incuding a stuffed crow – she can usually be found huddled inside her cluttered study or atelier.

There will usually be a feline or two of eccentric temperament in attendance.

Tee resides in the City of York.
